Service Description

To get married in Australia there are a few steps that must be completed under the Marriage Act 1961. Before your Wedding • You must complete a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and give this to me at least one month before the wedding date. • You are required to provide evidence of your date and place of birth, identity and the end of any previous marriages. • You must both sign the “Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage” By signing the declaration, you declare that you believe that you are of marriageable age, and there is no legal impediment to your marriage. On your wedding day I will read the Monitum and you and your lover will recite the legal vows and along with your two chosen witnesses (aged over 18) sign 3 separate marriage certificates After your wedding I will register the marriage with the Register of Births, Deaths & Marriages in the State or Territory where your marriage took place.
